Goodbye Mr.Ox

The reason why some metaphysics course books are filled with errors intentionally by the masters.

Thinking "Out of the Box"

Many hundreds of years ago in a small Italian town, a merchant had the misfortune of owing a large sum of money to the moneylender. The moneylender, who was old and ugly, fancied the merchant's beautiful daughter so he proposed a bargain. He said he would forgo the merchant' debt if he could marry the merchant's daughter. Both the merchant and his daughter were horrified by the proposal. The cunning money lender suggested that they let providence decide the matter.

The moneylender told them that he would put a black pebble and a white pebble into an empty bag. The girl would then have to pick one pebble from the bag. If she picked the black pebble, she would become the moneylender's wife and her father's debt would be forgiven. If she picked the white pebble she need not marry him and her father's debt would still be forgiven. But if she refused to pick a pebble, her father would be thrown into jail.

They were standing on a pebble strewn path in the merchant's garden. As they talked, the moneylender bent over to pick up two pebbles. As he picked them up, the sharp-eyed girl noticed that he had picked up two black pebbles and put them into the bag. He then asked the girl to pick her pebble from the bag.

Now, imagine you were standing in the merchant's garden. What would you have done if you were the girl? If you had to advise her, what would you have told her? Careful analysis would produce three possibilities:

1. The girl should refuse to take a pebble.

2. The girl should show that there were two black pebbles in the bag and expose the moneylender as a cheat.

3. The girl should pick a black pebble and sacrifice herself in order to save her father from his debt and imprisonment.

Take a moment to ponder over the story. The above story is used with the hope that it will make us appreciate the difference between lateral and logical thinking. The girl's dilemma cannot be solved with traditional logical thinking.

Think of the consequences if she chooses the logical answers.

What would you recommend the girl do?

This is what she did.

The girl put her hand into the moneybag and drew out a pebble. Without looking at it, she fumbled and let it fall onto the pebble-strewn path where it immediately became lost among all the other pebbles.

"Oh, how clumsy of me," she said. "But never mind, if you look into the bag for the one that is left, you will be able to tell which pebble I picked."

Since the remaining pebble is black, it must be assumed that she had picked the white one. And since the moneylender dared not admit his dishonesty, the girl changed what seemed an impossible situation into an extremely advantageous one.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Most complex problems do have a solution, sometimes we have to think about them in a different way.

Recently, at the concluded IFSA convention in Singapore which I was unable to attend, there was a talk about a Burmese astrology called MaHaBote. This is what it is all about.

MaHaBote is a Burmese Astrological System of birthday astrology, based on the Day of the Week birth, or cycles of 7 rather than 12. It is nicknamed "The Little Key" because you can quickly calculate and delineate a client's personality very accurately, without the need of an ephemeris, book of tables, or computer program. It gives quick and easy insight into the personality of the client, and to quote Barbara Cameron in her introduction in the book, MAHABOTE, THE LITTLE KEY, "the system grew out of Burmese origins alone. Its creator is unknown today, but the method continues in daily use. It is taught in the hushed confines of the cool temples by shaved-headed monks in saffron robes.

It's a great little compact and complete system for people who do not have an accurate time of birth, and it is far more detailed than sun sign astrology. It is unlike the Western Astrology of using 12 constellations with the orbit of the sun as a focus to compose the Zodiac of Aries, Leo, Capricorn, etc, further subdivided into twelve houses and which requires tedious plotting for the natal chart wheel based on the hour of birth which have to be converted into GMT or Greenwich Mean Time. However, you have to know the day that you are born, e.g. Monday, Tuesday…..

It uses 6 planets of Mercury/Rahu, Saturn, Mars, Venus, Moon and Jupiter. The Sun is also included as a planet making it seven. They are then placed into Seven Houses of Leader, Wealth, Kingly Position, Fame which are the positive houses follow by Houses of Extremity, Impermanence, and Sickly which are the negative Houses. The placement are derived from using the birth date which does not need the hour pillar.

One example of the meaning of the birth planet in the Houses:

House Meanings: Especially as it pertains to those with the Birth Planet * in
those Houses.

1. House of Impermanence: Not constant. Fluctuating health and wealth; will do exactly as one wants to do; nervous tension, may be a teacher in the latter part of life.
2. House of Extremity: Native born in this House will likely have a serious accident or illness when young...survival beyond youth in this house assures success. No middle ground in this house. Considered a "make" or "break" House.
3. House of Fame: Indicates a self-made person; educated; the house of reputation or what you are known for - courage, ambitious, industrious, wisdom.
4. House of Wealth: Respectful figure, may be religious or spiritual; generous - with high goals and objectives.
5. House of Kingly Position: (KP) Smart, astute, sharp; lives like a king (not necessarily wealthy), may attain a high position in life, such as head of a business, state, institution...also probably a good speaker.
6. House of Sickly or Changing: This is by far the most annoying House. It carries a steady, negative, persistent influence, which can also be physical, emotional, or mental distress. May move in childhood, feeling unsettled, or have a sickly childhood.
7. House of Leader: Conversationalist; very articulate could be head of government or commercial enterprise.

Further the planets also symbolises the anatomy, colors, sex, characteristic, relations such as Sun as father, Moon as mother. It also represent Nationalities such as Burmese, Chinese, Indian, etc and many more other aspects. You also have planetary relationship and hostile combinations.

The Grand Trine is then made up of the House of Leader, Extremity and Sickly. You then have a Minor Trine made up of center House of Wealth and then Extremity and Sickly.

This is how the chart looks like without the table. Imagine there are seven boxes with 7 at the top in the center follow by rest.

7. House of Leader

3 House of Fame 4 House of Wealth 5 House of Fame

2 House of Extremity 1 House of Impermanence 6 House of Sickly

Till then, cheers.

I'll be back later with an example of a bazi chart posted lately on a forum which shows how an element enter into tomb (Earth) and its significance in the Blindman theory in Bazi.

Till-then, cheers.

Travelling Horse

Hi Folks,

I’ m back. My apologies for not being able to update frequently but I will be here at least once monthly. As I have said, I’ m bored with metaphysics and it takes an effort for me to blog about it. Thought of changing the theme of my blog to something else maybe ‘Gambling ‘ with the IR casinos coming soon, ha-ha, just kidding.

Wonder if the above song title could be changed to ‘Travelling Horse’

ha-ha…….

Lately, with all this H1N1 stuff and taking temperature,

Temperature

A CEO-type was in the hospital, being treated for a minor deal. For a week he'd made a complete nuisance of himself, irritating all the staff, shouting orders and demanding attention, complaining about the food, the bed, the temperature, the weather. Typical big shot.

One morning a nurse's helper entered the room, saying, "Time to take your temperature, sir."

After growling that she was disturbing his nap, the guy finally opened his mouth for the thermometer.

"Sorry, sir," said the nurse, "but for this test we need your temperature from the other end."

After bitching about the embarrassment and inconvenience, the guy finally rolled over and bared his butt. After the nurse finished, she said, "Stay exactly like that and don't move. I'll be back in five minutes to check up on you."

The nurse left, leaving the door ajar. The guy's back is to the door, and for over an hour, he hears people wandering up and down the hall, laughing. At length the guy's doctor entered the room, saw the guy with his bare butt in the air and gawked. Finally, he asks, "What's going on here?"

The guy barks, "Haven't you ever seen someone having their temperature taken?"

"Not with a daffodil."

Today, we will go further into the role and characteristic of Earths in Bazi charts that most books and courses do not explains.

Hour Day Month Year

This is an interesting bazi chart to analyse earth characteristic. This chart was posted in WOFS forum by the owner herself. At first glance, it looks like a fake follower chart as self element Ding is too weak with only a support from Yi . Looking at her luck pillar from:

0 10 20

5 15 25

It does’nt look favorable at all too as the earthly branches for wood in the luck pillar do not support fake follower chart however, the complaint when she posted the chart was for when she will get married. Putting that aside, let’s look into why it does not fall into fake follower category.

This was her question:

‘Could someone help me interpret my love luck? I think my career luck's not too bad (I'm going into law), just my love luck. But I don't know how bad it is. If someone could help me identify the "type" of my chart, I'd appreciate it a lot.’

Obviously, the luck pillars of wood in her teen years is favorable.

Now you will notice that there are strong earths in the chart. It could be a follow child or output chart as self is too weak and have to submit and follow the leading element for Follow category. It’s like you are born in a strict catholic family (Resource) in a suburban area where there are a lot of gangs and the police can’t be there 24/7 to protect you, so you join them and be protected by the gang. And of course, you pick the strongest gang which in Bazi is the leading element and betrayed the original chart.

Now why it is not a Fake follower chart. Before we go further, a true Follow chart is where the self element has no support at all. In this case, there is one element Yi wood and so it is called a Fake follower chart. The characteristic, like and dislikes are the same except the fake follower chart tends to be more easily ‘broken’ when meets unfavorable luck pillar as it has a supporting element left waiting to exact its revenge for being betrayed, ha-ha…..

For earth as an output in Follow other element chart, you have to look at the month of birth first. Here, it is winter and within Chou , you have metal and water stored inside the earth. In this chart, water is usable and support the Yi wood to support self Ding. Yi wood is still strong in winter as it is deem Born in winter. The four earths Chou here support and form the root for the Yi wood thus this chart is a weak Ding fire chart and not a fake follower chart.

I will be back soon with a bazi chart in my research so far that interesting we can use fengshui to harmonize the unfavorable luck cycle or change the destiny without conflicting the Karma. In this particular case, the client was going through 20 years of unfavorable luck pillars but luckily, it can be changed to superb good luck, phew!

Till-then, cheers.

DNA

Hello my fellow practitioners,

As usual,

About Gambling

A guy gets home from work one night and hears a little voice. The little voice tells him, "Quit your job, sell your house, take your money, go to Vegas." The man is disturbed at what he hears and ignores the little voice.

The next day, when he gets home from work, the same thing happens. The little voice tells him, "Quit your job, sell your house, take your money, go to Vegas." Again, the man ignores the little voice, though he is very troubled by the event.

Every day, day after day, the man hears the same little voice when he gets home from work, "Quit your job, sell your house, take your money, go to Vegas." Each time the man hears the little voice he becomes increasingly upset. Finally, after two weeks, he succumbs to the pressure. He does quit his job, sells his house, takes his money and heads to Vegas.

The moment the man gets off the plane in Vegas, the little voice tells him, "Go to Harrah's." So, he hops in a cab and rushes over to Harrah's.

As soon as he sets foot in the casino, the little voice tells him, "Go to the roulette table." The man does as he is told. When he gets to the roulette table, the little voice tells him, "Put all your money on 17."

Nervously, the man exchanges all his money for chips and then puts them all on 17.

The dealer wishes the man good luck and spins the roulette wheel. Around and around the ball caroms. The man anxiously watches the ball as it slowly loses speed until finally it settles into number... 21.

The little voice says, "Oops....."

Ha-ha, reminds me of the IR with the casinos coming up in Singapore. Man, should be time to get a few Hawaii shirts to wear as we are on an island, right?

Anyway, I would be back with clash of the earths for Bazi and when is the wealth pot opened without being clashed and when it needs to be clash for it to to be open in a few days time. Feeling tired already, must have been lazing around too much, ha-ha.....

Congratulations to Mr. Obama for the Nobel award. Yea, Man, it's Time for Peace and Love, ha-ha..

Well, for today, lets go on to the clash of the titans, well ain't it, clash of earths to me sounds like earthquakes in our life. It is with interest that I noticed most masters or books omitted to elaborate further on the characteristics of Earth in clashes and directional combinations. We can conclude that they either do not know or they do not want to reveal what they know, ha-ha, just kidding. Let's talk about wealth first which most of us are more interested about first. There are four earths, Chou丑 the storage for metal xin辛, the storage for metal, wealth for a Fire daymaster, Chen辰, the storage for water, wealth for a Earth daymaster, Wei 未, the storage for wood, wealth to a Metal daymaster and lastly, Xu 戌, the storage for Fire, wealth for a Water daymaster.

Clash of Earths in the Six Clashes,

Chou 丑 X Wei 未
Chen 辰 X Xu 戌

Now to go further, let's just use an example to see when is the wealth locked and needs to be clash for it to be released to be of use. It is understood here that wealth is favorable only for a strong daymaster or when the weak daymaster turns strong.

E.g. birthdate not from Hsia Calendar,

Ji Xin Bing Gui
Chou Si You Wei

己 辛 丙 癸
丑 巳 酉 未

Now accordingly to old texts, Bazi chart with storehouse or earth with the wealth element will normally indicate that the person will be able to sustain and keeps his wealth whereas wealth that protrudes at the heavenly stem by itself is not long term. Roots at Earthly branches with Tri-combinations is a different scenario.

The example above is that of a strong Xin metal daymaster. His wealth pot is Wei and as there is no Jia or Yi at the heavenly stems, his wealth is deem locked in the vault or stored in the warehouse. Therefore he will have to wait for his Ten year luck pillar that comes with Chou 丑 or the annual Tai Sui to clash it open and to be of use.

Now lets change the e.g. to

Ji Xin Bing Yi
Chou Si You Wei

己 辛 丙 乙
丑 巳 酉 未

You will noticed that now there is a Yi 乙 sitting on Wei. This means that the wealth is out of the storage. And there is no need for it to be clash open. The Wei未 is now the the root for his wealth Yi and any clash would be unfavorable resulting in loss of wealth and etc. In this scenario, water would be favorable as it would strengthen the wealth element and drained the strong daymaster.

Q & A

In a clash from the Tai Sui, e.g. Chou E2 clash the Bazi E8, will the vault opened as there is a doubt which is stronger?

Logically as the Tai Sui represent Planet Jupiter at a certain point in a certain year, we are talking about planetary influence which is definitely strong enough to clash open the vault in the bazi chart and not vice versa as some students have been led to believe.

Yawn, I'm tired. It sure its a lazy Sunday afternoon, time for a nap. Would be back soon on the Titans, ha-ha..

The Three Extraodinary Noblemen

Hi all,

As usual,

The Bond Kidnapper

Jodi, a blonde, was down on her luck. In order to raise some money, she decided to kidnap a kid and hold him for ransom.

She went to the playground, grabbed a kid, took him behind a tree, and told him, "I've kidnapped you."

She then wrote a note saying, "I've kidnapped your kid. Tomorrow morning, put $10,000 in a paper bag and put it under the pecan tree next to the slide on the north side of the playground. Signed, Jodi -- the Blonde."

Jodi then pinned the note to the kid's shirt and sent him home to show it to his parents.

The next morning the blonde checked, and sure enough, a paper bag was sitting beneath the pecan tree. Jodi opened the bag and found the $10,000 with a note that said, "How could you do this to a fellow blonde?"

Ha-ha.....

Yap folks,

I' m bored with metaphysics, am packing my bags and going back to the normal world. Well, with all the incredible fees now for advanced fengshui courses, it's time to get out, ha-ha...Anyway, not to put my researches and studies in metaphysics to waste, I will carry on with blogging on metaphysics once in a while for my dear friends over here for the support you' ve given me. Actually, the geo counter is for me to monitor that there are no sudden increase of unwelcomed visitors to my blog. I had stopped blogging for a while as I' m intrigued that some one managed to use my URL address as his website and I was waiting for some happenings unfortunately, my blog was restored to normal. I think that was the only interesting happenings so far this month. Happenings in our local lingo means an special fun event, ha-ha.

Anyways, lets today talk about another symbolic star called The Three Extraodinary Nobleman or 三奇贵人. When I first started in Metaphysics, I was over awed by this star. Lets look at a translations from Mentor Koh's Unveil your destiny.

Heaven Nobleman ( derived from heavenly stems )

Hr Day Month Year

X Jia Wu Geng
X 甲 戊 庚

Earth Nobleman

X Yi Bing Ding
X 乙 丙 丁

Human Nobleman

X Ren Gui Xin
X 壬 癸 辛

The arrangement of these heavenly stems in the Bazi chart must be present in the order above to qualify for this symbolic star category. A person with any of the Three Extraordinary Nobleman is extremely intelligent, gifted in all areas, knowlegeable and generous. He will have great achievements in life. No adverse forces can harm him. If the three Heavenly stems are not in their respective positions and order, this star is deemed to be less effective.

How? sounds good to have such a star in the bazi chart. Well, let me give you another interpretations later from Master Hua Yibo. I am now engrossed with this young chap, nine years old playing the blues tonite on 'America got talent' show on TV. Wow, he is good and his performance just tug at my heart strings. I had actually did'nt bother with the show when it first started until I saw the preview on this young boy playing the guitar. Guess I would be busy following his adventure to La Vegas. Could he have this star in his bazi chart? Will be back soon.

Till-then, cheers.

Hi folks,

I'm Back,

How about learning Spanish instead of Chinese, ha-ha....

Now to carry on with a translation from Hua Yibo, a lady master on this star.

'If there are the Three Extraordinary Noblemen in one' s Four Pillars, but no help from another Nobleman ( Heavenly Virtue Star, Monthly Virtue ) , it is useless for him. If the elements of his four pillars are not in harmony, it is also of no use.

So we know if there is only a Three Extraodinary Noblemen in one' s discordant four pillars, he still will have a sad life and wander far away from home and live in solitude.'

I will carry on again soon as I have an unexpected welcomed visitor thats why you see this post missing earler on.
Just got back and feeling tired.

Cheers.

Hi all, my apologies as I was busy shifting to Pengara, a remote town in Johor near to the Desaru Resort. It takes an hour to reach there by ferry from Changi Village Ferry Terminal. The picture above is a day view of the beach house or bungalow I' m staying facing the sea. The house belongs to a friend of mine. A lot of Singaporeans comes by for seafood over the weekend. It's very cheap but beer e.g. Carlsberg is at Ringgit 14 dollars, not cheap. Imagine for a beer drinker, you normally need about 2 bottles to be satisfied. Mutiply by 30 days, you get 840 dollars ringgits a month. Ha-ha, that was my shirt drying out there with the detachable sleeve which got dirtied while eating seafood. Guess I will be here for a couple of months.

Anyway, back to the Three Extraordinary Noblemen, what Master Hua Yibo meant was that the elements of this star must be favorable to the chart, if not, it's useless. Instead of being Extraordinary Noblemen, it will become Extraordinary Devils. As for the examples of charts given for Commander Nobleman, you can try experimenting to see what charts will be favorable for the Three Extraordinary Noblemen. Though to be frank, till date, Bill Gates, Obama, etc do not have charts like that and yet they are somebody in life. Likewise for the nobleman star in Bazi, you must remember it must be a favorable element for it to be of use. There is no big deal in having this star.

Anyway, let me enjoy myself tonight with nice music and looking and listening to the sea waves. Till we meet again here, friends. Cheers.

A nice night view of the sea, ha-ha.....
