Don't beat around the Bush

Hi my fellow practioners,

As usual,

Wisdom Quotes

"Whenever I'm caught between two evils, I take the one I've never tried." Mae West

"Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens." Jimi Hendrix

"How to make a million dollars: First, get a million dollars." Steve Martin

"If at first you don't succeed, try again. Then quit. There's no use being a damn fool about it." W.C. Fields

"Wise men make proverbs, but fools repeat them." Samuel Palmer."

Well, I' m bored with metaphysics and all the 'Beating around the bush'.

A MTV 2006. kind of like the song, ha-ha, enjoy. Nope, ain't being sadistic.

Hmn, found a virus here, decided to replace the MTV with who else, 'Master PuppetJi', of course, ha-ha.

Tll-then, cheers.

What is a RELIGION?

As usual,

Faith in Human Nature

A burglar, needing money to pay his income taxes, decided to rob the safe in a store.

On the safe door he was very pleased to find a note reading: "Please don't use dynamite. The safe is not locked. Just turn the knob."

He did so. Instantly a heavy sandbag fell on him, the entire premises were floodlighted, and alarms started clanging.

As the police carried him out on a stretcher, he was heard moaning: "My confidence in human nature has been rudely shaken."

A news excerpt:

KUALA LUMPUR, July 21, 2009 (AFP) - - A religious court in Malaysia has sentenced a tearful Singaporean Muslim model to six strokes of the cane after she drank beer in a nightclub, reports said Tuesday.

Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, 32, pleaded guilty to consuming alcohol at a hotel nightclub in the eastern state of Pahang last year, the New Straits Times newspaper reported.

"We feel the sentence is fair after going through the prosecution's argument and since the rotan (cane) is provided for in the law," Pahang Sharia High Court judge Abdul Rahman Yunus said, according to the paper.

"The rotan is aimed at making the accused repent and serves as a lesson to Muslims," he added, also fining Kartika 5,000 ringgit (1,412 dollars).

The model, who cried when the judgement was delivered, said she would appeal.

State religious officials could not be reached for comment on the case.

Malaysia, which has large Indian and Chinese minorities freely enjoying alcohol, has a two-track legal system. Civil courts operate alongside state-based sharia courts, which can try Muslims for religious offences.

Hmn, does it reminds you of a case in vandalism, ha-ha...

A quote from GURU Puppetj: 'Yesterday is history, Tommorow is a mystery and Today it is a gift. that's why it is called the present.'

Till-then, cheers.

My apologies, I' m really bored with metaphysics.

21st Century Man

Hi all,

As usual,

The Elevator

A Kentucky family took a vacation to New York City. One day, the father took his son into a rather large building; they were amazed by everything they saw --especially the elevator at one end of the lobby.

The boy asked, "What's this, Paw?" The father responded, "Son I have never seen anything like this in my life, I don't know what it is!"

While the boy and his father were watching in wide-eyed astonishment, an old lady in a wheel chair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button.

The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched small circles of lights above the walls light up.

They continued to watch the circles light up in the reverse direction. The walls opened again, and a voluptuous 24-year-old woman stepped out.

The father turned to his son and said, "Go get your Maw."

Ha-ha....

Lately, got nothing much to contribute. If you are bored, you can go to Mr. Joseph Yu blog which I am following on the Nina Wang Saga.

Till-then, cheers.
