Ha-ha, sorry to inform you that you don't need a moving yao for this method by Master Alfred Huang from his book. You used the nuclear trigram, i.e. use the second line, third line and fourth line of the hexagram as a lower trigram and then combine with the fifth and fourth and third line, another trigram to form another hexgram.

The original hexagram derived upon seeing the sign of two sparrows dropping dead at that time. You need a signal like Moses did to forsee and take action and wander in the desert with his people for forty years, yeah?

About using this divination, you must have the feel to use it. Doesn't mean that when you want to let out your frustrations and use it to find out when your enemy will get his shit (that kind of mentality). At your own risk.




Okay, back to poker cards divinations. What about the tens? Ah, this is what everybody wants in life, Wealth. If it is a red color diamond or hearts, money is coming provided if it is the centre card but if out of reach that is within the circle of cards, wealth still coming, only don’t know when, ha-ha. Strange Illness

A man went to see his doctor because he was suffering from a miserable cold. His doctor prescribed some pills, but that didn't help.

He then visits another doctor in the same hospital and complained about his previous doctor. The second doctor then gave him an injection, but that didn't do any good.

He then consults a new doctor in another hospital and start complaining about all his previous experiences. The doctor then told the man, "Go home and take a hot bath. As soon as you finish bathing throw open all the windows and stand in the draft."

"But doc," protested the patient, "if I do that, I'll get pneumonia."

"I know," said the doctor, "But I can cure pneumonia."

Well too bad, our dear You tube is having some copy-rights problems, can’t blame him as his good-will is not appreciated by those so called artistes or whatever. Some are dead but still collecting copyrights dues, ha-ha, wonder how the money gets to them or? Pardon me for my outburst the last time, You tube. Just got cheese off by all these goodies foodies. Ok, about the rest of the cards. In general, six would mean matters related to travel and career. Seven would meant matters about documents and education, eight, emotional response to any certain proposed issue and health. Nine would be about the practicality of your actions in mind and also family issues. There are no twos, threes, fours, or fives cards.

Remember that I am using Hsia calendar for timing and as such the lunar calendar will be defined as the Hsia calendar here. After all, I have the right to decides, right? This is my blog, ha-ha. I have enough with all this clocking, real time and false time or GMT, etc, whatever…. Just label the animal or zodiac sign for the month and it will works whether poker cards or Mei Hua Yi Shu.

Okay then for the rest, you got to check the trigrams yourself.

One will be Qian or Heaven.

Two will be Kan or Water.

Three will be Gen or Mountain.

Four will be Zhen or Thunder.

Five will be Xun or Wind. (this is not yi jing fengshui, so five is usable)

Six will be Li or Fire.

Seven will be Kun or Earth.

Eight is Tui or Lake.

To determine changing circumstances for the moving yao, next episode, ha-ha.

To continue on the use of mathematics in The Plum Blossom Divination last mentioned in my post in Dec 19. That introductory story which was slightly different was taken from a blog of a master that I cannot remember.

There is a story that on the fifteenth of the twelfth month of the Year of the Dragon around six o’clock in the morning, Shao Yong was meditating by watching the plum blossom outside his window. Two sparrows fighting suddenly dropped from the tree, dead.

He then used numerology for divination.

The year of the Dragon is 5, the month 12 and the day 15 totaling to 32 which is then divided by 8 (There are 8 Trigrams only) which gives 8 as there is no remainder. 8 in King Wen’s sequence of the Eight Primary Gua , is Lake.(Dui) which is the upper Gua.
The Dragon is no 5 in the zodiac astrology with the rat as 1 and so forth. King Wen’s sequence is different from what some schools are using today for your information.

The time is six o’ clock in the morning.
Six is then added to the total 32 which gives 38 which is then divided by 8 which gives a remainder of 6 which then indicates the sixth gua Fire in King Wen’s sequence. Fire then form the lower gua.

Thus he arrived at the hexagram 49 Abolishing the Old in which lake symbolizes a maid or a young woman and Fire symbolizes a flower. Shao Yong said, “The sign is a maid breaking the tree.’

Then he consulted the mutual gua (Nuclear Hexagram), It was Encountering Hexagram 44. The upper mutual gua is Heaven symbolized a man. The lower mutual gua is Wind. It symbolizes a virgin, also the bottom.

Shao Yong then made this predction, the following night a maid would come, breaking off a branch of the plum blossom tree. The gardener would chase her. The maid would run away and fall down, hurting her bottom The following night the event happened exactly as he had predicted.

Okay, now about the poker cards reading. My apologies as there are a mistake on the placing of the lunar months in my post in the same post. To avoid confusion just label the cards as of the zodiac sign for east which would be Mao 卯 for the Queen of Spades. The Yin 寅 is actually the first lunar month in the Lunar Calendar.

To get on to the meanings of cards, the King would represent an elder man while the queen of clubs would represent a eldery woman and the jack card would represent a young man.The Queen of spade would represent both young and eldery woman and is an inauspicious card. Again black cards are inauspicious. The rest of the cards I would carried on again in my next post.

Never mind Folks, to match the Ying and Yang for both MTV, simple, just play both MTV together and you will get the Sheng Qi. Argh, watch it, You tube, you are losing clients. I sure would temporary audit you, ha-ha. Ah, come more, this is not a commercial blog, right. Argh, my only favorite MTV with the movie: ‘Notebook’ and the song ‘Pieces of April’ has also been removed from your site. Please don’t accept contributions from people without sincerity at these times of gloom.’ Money no enough’, a local slang from Singapore. Oh, come on, this is not the first time from some of your nice members with other intent in sharing. Pardon me if I’m too brusque.

Understanding 理解

Hi Folks,

Feeling lethargic today, just four days into the New Year, doesn’t look good? Just can’t understand about the Gaza crisis, after the ceasefire truce expired, the Hamas started firing rockets into Israel for whatever reasons I just can’t comprehend.
Another day about using the poker cards in I Ching, ok? Still having the hangover from 2008, argh.

Ha-ha, doesn’t matter, try to get some kicks or energized myself with this MTV. You got to play the 2 MTV 2gether. : )

Comprehension in Metaphysics,

A stock analyst and a Wall Street broker went to the races. The broker suggested to bet $10,000 on a horse. The analyst was skeptical, saying that he wanted first to understand the rules, to look on horses, etc. The broker whispered that he knew a secret algorithm for the success, but he could not convince the analyst.

"You are too theoretical," he said and bet on a horse. Surely then, that horse came first bringing him a lot of money. Triumphantly, he exclaimed: "I told you, I knew the secret!"

"What is your secret?" the analyst asked.

"It is rather easy. I have two kids, three and five year old. I sum up their ages and I bet on number nine."

"But, three and five is eight," the analyst protested.

"I told you, you are too theoretical!" the broker replied, "Haven't I just shown experimentally that my calculation is correct?!"

Two men waiting at the Pearly Gates strike up a conversation.

"How'd you die?" the first man asks the second.

"I froze to death," says the second.

"That's awful," says the first man. "How does it feel to freeze to death?"

"It's very uncomfortable at first," says the second man. "You get the shakes, and you get pains in all your fingers and toes. But eventually, it's a very calm way to go. You get numb and you kind of drift off, as if you're sleeping. How about you, how did you die?"

"I had a heart attack," says the first man. "You see, I knew my wife was cheating on me, so one day I showed up at home unexpectedly. I ran up to the bedroom, and found her alone, knitting. I rushed down to the basement, but no one was hiding there. I ran up to the second floor, but found no one there either. I went as fast as I could to the attic, and just as I got there, I had a massive heart attack and died."

The second man shakes his head. "That's so ironic," he says.

"What do you mean?" asks the first man.

"If you had only stopped to look in the freezer, we'd both be still alive."

Now to carry on with using poker cards for divinations in Yi Jing, you will have to get a set of playing cards. Kindly treat it with respect and keep it out of sight when not in use. Please do not use it for your Chinese New Year or any occasions for gambling or entertainment activities.

Further explanations of timing of the lunar months. The first card at the north is the Rat month Zi ( in this scenario, the Ace of Spade ), followed by Chou (Ten of Hearts), ignore the seven of spades which is for other purpose for the cardinal direction of North-east. Then the nine of spade would be the Yin Lunar Month.

Good, we are ready to start now.

First, remove all the twos, threes, fours and fives card and the jokers in the stack.

Now to begin, make sure you are relaxed and not under any stress. Imagine you are with a friend, and you are pouring out your worries and trouble to? Shuffle the cards as you think of the question you wanted to ask. Make it specific. You don’t ask ‘When I can be rich?’ because it might be tomorrow when you buy a lottery ticket or twenty years later. You ask ‘Can I be rich by Tomorrow?’ But before you do that, ask yourself in the heart, is it possible? If not, by logic, don’t bother, ask something else more sensible to avoid wasting your time.

When you are ready, cut the cards into two halves, and put the top under the second half.
Then the first card would be the prelimary assessment by the Yi Jing of your situation.
However, ha-ha, we would start it simple, taking readings from the first card which would be the centre card to your question. Ignore about the rest which I would carry on after the New Year. Now if it shows a card with Hearts or Diamonds, it is auspicious but if it shows a Spade or Club card, be wary of whatever actions you want to undertake. For the areas that the cards would portray, e.g. relationship, health, wealth, etc, I would carry on with as I said after the New Year. Not to worry, you can try this out and see if the aftermath is correct or not for the moment for any decision making. For building the circle of cards and the hexagram, after New Year Day. At the moment, just remember Red is positive and Black colour cards are negative situations. For a start, the ace always represent relationship, so for those of you looking for love in this festive season, may you get an Ace of Hearts. If you don’t get it, ha-ha, don’t worry, I will explain further about the other cards significance after New Year Day.
